Queen came to us, and thanks to our Love Fund, we were able to give her the care she desperately needed. She was a stray found in the area and surrendered to our care, in a truly heartbreaking condition.
Meet Queen
Queen came to us, and thanks to our Love Fund, we were able to give her the care she desperately needed. She was a stray found in the area and surrendered to our care, in a truly heartbreaking condition. Emaciated and with severe skin issues, Queen was suffering from a bacterial infection that was stubbornly unresponsive to the initial antibiotics. We decided to run a culture to find the most effective treatment for her.

Shortly after her arrival, Queen had loose stool and even vomited a chicken bone—an indication of the challenges she faced trying to survive on her own. To ensure she had no other hidden health issues, we conducted bloodwork and radiographs, ruling out any obstructions or underlying conditions. At around 12 years old, Queen was clearly a senior who had been on her own for quite some time. Despite her hardships, she remained gentle and sweet throughout her stay. She was with us from July 25th to August 14th, receiving the love and care she deserved, before moving on to a local shelter for the next chapter in her journey.
